Its clear this film has causes quite a different reaction in today's world compared to when it was made. I do think its a shame the 3.5 hour epic seems to have become unfashionable as i just cant get enough of them! Perhaps the Kill Bill/Hobbit/Harry Potter 7 style two-parter is the modern answer to a classic 'Epic'; if nothing else it should bring hollywood some extra revenues - i guess everyone is happy at the end of the day! ....except this Hamlet/Dances With Wolves/El Cid fan. <strong>Moonwatcher</strong> The span of ratings at film club was very varied – from as low as 2/5 to as high as 5/5 (that was me!)
